Who doesn't love Disney World! I must confess I love and
adore theme parks. But how can you save money at
Disney World? Read on for cheap travel to
Disney ideas!
Would you like to try some of the really nice
restaurants at Epcot? Trust me, they are great. I live in
the area and I visit there often. They are better than most
theme park restaurants by a comfortable mile. Here's a tip.
You can check out these restaurants and not overspend your
budget by eating there at lunch instead of dinner. Same
food, smaller portions, smaller prices. Well worth it for
sure.
Other than Epcot, your best bet for dining is MGM, which
is now called Hollywood Studios. So save your money and
don't purchase hot dogs, ice cream, and other snacks in
between meals (they are costly as well), and when it's time
for dinner head over to Hollywood Studios for your
meal.
If you live in the state, here's how to travel cheap and
take advantage of the Florida resident discounts. I
recommend purchasing an annual pass. I buy one just about
every year and it pays for itself in about 4 or 5 visits,
depending on which version you get. The pass with blackout
dates is cheaper but I usually get the next one up because
it comes with free parking and no blackout dates. You may
consider the cost of the pass to be rather expensive but
consider one-day tickets are now around $71.00 at last
check. That's nutty! For one thing, I never like to stay
more than 3 or 4 hours, so it would be a terrible deal for
me to buy a full-price 1-day ticket. So do consider the
Florida resident annual pass.
Save money on rental cars too, a great idea on
cheap travel. If you are staying at one of
the Walt Disney World resorts, you probably don't need to
rent a car unless you plan to travel some distance off the
property. Trust me, the property is huge, just miles and
miles, and there are monorails and buses to take you
wherever you need to go within the boundaries. Plenty of
shopping at Downtown Disney or in the theme parks
themselves, and more than enough restaurants to make anyone
happy no matter what your taste in cuisine, especially at
Epcot.
And lastly, if you like Fish and Chips check out
Yorkshire County Fish and Chips in the United Kingdom area.
Fantastic for what it is. I love it.
