Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is one of my favorite
places. If you are planning a vacation and are looking for
information on this extremely fun and fantastic theme park
as well as family vacation ideas and
tips, read on for some tips on how you can save some
money.
First, forget about the myth that Disney is only for
those with a money tree growing in their yard. This is not
true at all. A Disney vacation can be affordable, so don't
despair if you are on a budget.
If you are not within easy driving distance and plan to
fly, you can save a little by choosing one of the no-frills
discount airline services like JetBlue. You can usually
save on airfare with these airlines. Another tip for
airfare savings is to make sure you don't forget to check
the prices in nearby cities. Sometimes you can save quite a
bit by just driving an extra hour to another city.
If you are planning to stay at a hotel on the Disney
property you will pay more for the hotel but you can save
money on a rental car at the same time. Keep in mind that
Disney has a wide range of hotels with varying prices from
their version of value priced such as All-Star Movies,
All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, and Pop Century Resort up
to the deluxe resorts such as Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge,
Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian among others.
You can find much cheaper hotels off the Disney property
but you will need to rent a car. The great thing about
staying on property is you can get around totally by Disney
transportation.
You can save money on Souvenirs by buying them at
discount stores like Wal-Mart. Of course, the quality may
not be the same so you can probably only get away with this
if you have very young children. But it is a good savings
tip for keeping on a budget for your Orlando Disney
vacation. I hope these great
family vacation ideas information can
help you save a bit of money on your trip.
